Ronald Peterson
Chairman
Ronald Peterson is the President of Three Arrows Capital Corp., an investment banking firm in Bethesda, MD that has helped capitalize dozens of emerging high-growth companies. He has over thirty years of experience on Wall Street as either a vice-president or registered representative with firms such as Merrill Lynch, Paine Webber and Prudential Securities. He is the author of When Venture Capitalists Say “No” — Creative Financing and Growth Strategies, and a professional stock market book, Solomon’s Riches as well as a report on Technology Transfer in the Life-Sciences.
He is also a contributor to magazines, newspapers and encyclopedia articles on entrepreneurship and finance, and served as a popular radio host on investment topics in the Washington, DC area for five years. He has lectured on investment topics for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Georgetown University, the University of Maryland, and George Mason University. He taught hedging strategies to the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Federal Reserve Board, Export-Import Bank and national and international banks and corporations. He holds a BS in Economics and an MS in Biotechnology Management along with certificates from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Institutes of Health and Armed Forces Institute, and added graduate study at Johns Hopkins University, the Naval War College and George Washington University (MBA studies). He holds one patent in electronic circuitry.
Terrence J. Brennan
Terry J. Brennan is Director of New Ventures for Boston, MA.-based Community Technology Fund. He currently manages start-up and growth of nine seed-stage companies in IT, Drug Discovery and Medical Devices, as well as manages an annual grant program to fund pre-seed technologies. For Boston University, he developed and implemented new business models leveraging the University's and Boston-area entrepreneurial resources to increase sales, grant funding and corporate partnerships in portfolio companies. He also teaches a "Boot Camp" to Boston University Faculty on how to start companies. Prior to his work at the Community Technology Fund, he served as manager reporting to KPMG's National Partner in Charge of Business Integration, as well as serving as Vice President of Strategic Planning, for JPB Enterprises. He holds a BA in Government from Saint Lawrence University, as well as an MBA from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Reims, France, and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
